Ok, so I can't even remember the last time I wrote on here!
So, what's been goinf on in my life. I have been busy planning Suzanne's bridal shower. I am doing a beach theme since her and Dustin met in Hawaii and their first date was on the beach. I think my brain is going to explode. I had to start carrying around a notebook so I could write down ideas that would just pop into my head!
Other than the shower, I am still working as a nanny for a family with 4 kids. And thank goodness they are all back in school! My parents celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary on Sept. 7th. WOW! I hope I get as lucky.
As the shower gets closer and then the wedding next June, I am sure that I will have a lot more to blog about!

'Twilight' Book reveiw
I have found an awesome series of books that I recommend everyone read. I guess they are for "young adults" but I figured I am not old, so I can still fit into that category! Anyway, the author's name is Stephenie Meyer. The first of the saga is called 'Twilight'. It's about a young girl, Bella 17, who moves from Phoenix to Forks, Washington to live with her dad. As she makes new friends she becomes obsessed with this family of 5 siblings. They are the Cullens. After a series of accidents, Bella becomes suspicious of Edward's uncanny ability to appear and rescue her. After hearing local folk lore stories from her friend Jacob, who lives on the reservation near by, she is convinced that Edward and his siblings are vampires. I can't stress how awesome this book is! I bought it late Wednesday night and finished it before I went to bed Friday night. I showed up at Borders bright and early Saturday morning to buy the 2nd and 3rd book! It would figure that the 3rd was sold out!!! I bought the second, started reading it around 3:30 on Saturday afternoon and finished Sunday evening! The 3rd one is coming in the mail tomorrow and the 4th is released on August 2nd. READ THIS BOOK!!!

Bye Bye P-town
So, as of July 1st I will no longer be a Pleasantonite. I will now be a Livermoron. It's all of 5 miles from my old house. I just hope my neighbors will be nicer there. The ones I live near now, they just suck! Anyway, as an added bonus I get to spend my birthday unpacking.

Kenny Chesney Concert review
So last Sunday (June 8th) my sister, her bf Rick and I went to the Kenny Chesney concert at AT&T park in SF. The day was long and I knew it was going to be hot, but then so were all the cowboys I was going to see that day :) My day started out at 6:30AM, yes for a 4pm concert. I was picked up and with all out BBQ gear we headed out. The beer started flowing at 11:30, hey it was 5:00 somewhere, and it just kept going. After many hours, drinks and lots of food, we headed inside the park. We were special, we had club seats and our own private entrance and front row seats. What more could I ask for? I had to ask. Not only had I had one too many beers, ok maybe 2 too many, the heat wasn't helping. AT&T park was not designed to hold a bunch of crazy country music fans, so the entire second deck felt like it was going to collapse! I decided to head inside to use the civilized toilets, I don't do portable toilets, and of course discovered the mile long women's line. After witnessing drunk people staggering all over the hallway, it was finally my turn! Only to hear the bathroom attendant announce that a water main had broken in the building and you couldn't flush or wash your hands! I was mortified. Other than the toilet issues, the concert was awesome! I can't remember the first guy who performed, some no name. Then Gary Allan came on, then LeAnn Rimes, Brooks and Dunn and then the coup de grace Kenny himself appeared.... AHHHHHH :) So happy! He had a guest performer, Steve Miller- they sang "The Joker" and "Rock n' Me" and if that wasn't enough he brought out Sammy Hagar! They sang "I'll Fall in Love Again" and "I can't Drive 55." It was so awesome. So after a 2 hour performance, we all loaded back into the truck and headed home. Sometime around 1am I fell asleep and could have killed my alarm when it went off at 6!
Have you ever tried the Wii?
Ok, so you all know that I am a nanny- and one of the perks of my jobs is playing with the kids. Last year the family got a Wii. Best little invention ever! So, the older boys (9 and 11) are Guitar Hero junkies! They get to rock out with the likes of Santana, Pearl Jam, Beastie Boys... it's really cool for those of you who don't know what I am talking about! They think I am really old cause I know the words to almost all the songs they play, and these songs (most of which are from the 80s and 90s) they think are ancient and therefore I am ancient. That hurts.
